Map & Directions

We will be heading to our campsite on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 with a stop at Sixth Crossing visitors center on the way. We will likely stop for lunch in Farson, WY.

Initially, we will leave Delta and head to Nephi on Hwy 6 and get on I-15 North. We will head through Provo on University Ave and take Provo canyon on Hwy 189. Stay on Hwy 189 until getting to I-80, then head eastbound. Stay on I-80 eastbound until Rock Springs, WY. We will exit the freeway in Rock Springs onto highway 191. Then head north on Hwy 191 until Farson, WY. We will stop in Farson, WY at the church there for lunch. After lunch we will head east on Hwy 28 until reaching Hwy 287/789. Turn east/right on Hwy 287/789 and then continue until reaching Sixth Crossing, WY Visitors Center. After our time in Sixth Crossing we will continue on Hwy 287/789 for about an hour, continuing east. Once reaching Hwy 220, turn left or east and head on this road for 8-9 miles. At this point, there is a dirt road that heads north or left with a sign that says "Jackson Campground". Turn onto this road and continue for a few miles on this road until we arrive at our campsite, Jackson 2.
